Dr. Matt Hayden is a dedicated dentist with a lifelong passion for health-centered care, shaped by his unique upbringing as the son of a missionary dentist. Spending much of his youth in third-world countries, he witnessed firsthand the transformative power of accessible dental care, instilling in him a deep commitment to holistic, compassionate dentistry. 

A native Oregonian, Dr. Hayden pursued his education across diverse institutions: Newbold College in England, Walla Walla University, and the University of Oregon for his undergraduate studies, followed by dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). After graduating, he returned to Oregon and joined his father’s practice alongside two of his brothers. Together, they founded and grew Hayden Family Dentistry Group into a multi-office practice serving communities across the state. In 2008, the family successfully sold the group, allowing Dr. Hayden to establish roots in Hermiston, Oregon. 

Today, Dr. Hayden proudly practices at Hayden Dental in Hermiston, where he provides gentle, personalized care to patients of all ages. He lives in the community with his wife and four children, balancing his professional life with ranching—raising and running quarter horses—and active volunteer service. He regularly travels to third-world countries to offer free dental care, continuing the missionary spirit that inspired his career. Dr. Hayden is deeply committed to serving the Hermiston community through quality dentistry, local involvement, and giving back globally.
